I was born in Morenci. I went to Longfellow Elementary School in Morenci until 2nd grade. I went to Laugharn Elementary School in Clifton from 3rd grade on, and graduated from Clifton High School. I attended Eastern Arizona College in Thatcher, and received my AA degree in Education. I then finished my last two years through Northern Arizona University's Extension Program in Thatcher on the Eastern Arizona College campus. I received my BS Degree in Elementary Education, with an emphasis in Early Childhood. I now have a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Reading Endorsement. I was named in the Who's Who Among America's Teachers for the school year 2004-2005 and 2005-2006.
My husband's name is David, and we have two boys. Their names are Christian and David Jr.
