Hemophilia Federation India is a non profit organization working for welfare of persons with hemophilia all over India since 1983. It is run by PWHs themselves with the help of medical community and like minded people. It is an all India organization with a  network of chapters in 60 cities It represents India as a National member organization in the World Federation of Hemophilia Canada.

Our Aims

• To identify and diagnose persons with hemophilia in India.
• To make hemophilia treatment available at an affordable cost.
• To educate and provide information about proper hemophilia care.

• Providing support to 6,000 persons with hemophilia irrespective of their caste creed or religion.
• Network of 62 chapters all over India & four regional support & co-ordination offices.
• Importing life saving medicine “AHF” at the lowest price in the world and providing it at no profit - no loss basis or even free to poor.
• Chapters play a vital role in life threatening situations and surgeries in PWHs.
• Educating patients, training doctors on proper hemophilia care.
• Organizing workshops and conferences all over India.
• Providing psychosocial support not only to patients but to their families too.
• Many chapters run their own laboratory and treatment centers.
• Providing free hepatitis B vaccine to PWHs and medical & technical workers working in this field.
• Providing assistance to PWHs who are HIV positive.
