We are just on Magnetic Island (across from Townsville). We are
waiting for the bus to take us to the ferry so that we can get onto the
Greyhound to go to Mission beach. Then only 5 more towns before
we head home...I am starting to miss my bed and my room and my
house...You just can't get away from people when you are in a hostel...
unless you want to walk alone...but, with all the riots here, that's not
a good idea. We will be in Sydney for New Years. We are not going out
to the bars because we don't want to be caught in the midst of riot. We
have a few people in Syd that we are meeting up with...some
backpackers... some locals. At least we wont be alone. I just wanted to
let everyone know that we are alright and we are thinking about you.
