Just an update....
We have decided to stay in Mission beach over xmas...they love us here
and have conned us by telling us that if we stay they will have us host on
their reef boat and let us snorkel for free...they also said that the reef is
better here any ways. This hostel has a breakfast and lunch on Christmas
day...Prawns, salads, ham, fish..and much more! They also have presents
under the tree for everyone staying here so that we all have something to
open while we are away from home. Steph is pretty gungho about going to
Cairnes for xmas but, I they have given us so much reason to stay here.
We have only been paying for food while we have been here because we
get up in the am and make beds and clean the kitchen and bathrooms.
It's about 2 hours of work a day and they treat us so well. When we do
go up to Cairnes we will be there for two nights then head off to Sydney.
It doen't even feel like xmas yet. There is no SNOW! Well, better get
going and I will write again later...we also get to use the net whenever,
so I check once or twice a day.
