Glad you could stop by my site ! This is a new site that I have very much enjoyed building . What better way to
show other Ham's who they were talking to,and what I was using for gear. I started my hobby in radio when I was
young really,as my mother and father gave me a crysal radio kit to build,and I always had a walkie talkie in my
hand. Then with a wire running from my walkie talkie antenna to the cherry tree, I talked to a fellow about two
blocks away named "Disco Dan" who said he had a CB radio for sale. So I talked to my dad into going over to his
house to by it. It was a COBRA 145 AM rig with extra xtal's added to go below channel one ( wow) ! I thought,
so my father and I had a hobby that we enjoyed for many years together , and made many contacts via the skip in
the mid 70's. Then it wasn't untill only three years ago that my father introduced me to a ham op that got me
started in the " BIG SHOW " of Amateur Radio.... his name was Jasper Petrus VE7NR, One of the big gun's in our
town and a true elmer to me. So I got my ticket and an old heath kit cw rig and I was off to the races,non stop ever
since ...I mean every day almost..Just ask my wife Hi..Hi.. ! Then found an ICOM 751 rig and really started the
QSL collection ! So in a nut shell that is it ...Im now 45 years old and have a great hobby for life ,can't beat it! 73.
