Since you succesfully made it here you must already know something about VW's unusal venture into the sport utility market back in the early 70's My Thing I decided to customize this thing a bit.  I have two others which are original.  I added the 400,000 candlepower Hella Flood lights, brushguard, pushbar, 15" Chrome rims with Nobby Tires, original VW Roll Cage from my other Thing, Thing shop divided header exhaust, spare tire carrier with full size spare, Sony Xplod radio, and 4 speakers, power antena with amplifier, mus flaps, and misc. other accesories.  As you may know, there is nowhere to mount speakers in the front of the thing so I designed a stock looking front kick panel.  It is made out of Polyicarbonate and I used a CNC miller to cut the hole in the center.  It came out perfect and Looks amazing.  Let me know what you think  Make A little Extra cash for Thing parts or your first thing.
