Bootleg Canyon Trails are amazing. If you are looking for a great ride close to Vegas, this is it.
Just a few minutes south of Vegas in Boulder City is Bootleg Canyon Trails mountain biking park. There are about 8 trails located there. The difficulty ranges from mild to wild, so if you feel like a liesurely stroll, you can do that, or if you are feeling a little more daring try one of the downhill runs. Another nice thing about the park are the trail maps available upon entering the park.
Directions:
>95 south to Boulder City
>Left on Yucca st. (no light)
>Drive through rock quarry and follow signs to MNTB trails
>Park at the mouth of the canyon
>Maps are in a mailbox on a telephone pole
