DBZ's begining, it starts off with
a space pod crash landing into a farming area and a alien come out named radditz. Radditz is Goku's older brother and has come to see why "Kakarot" hasn't completed his mission of destroying the earth. He runs into Piccolo because he thinks that is his brothers power but he easily stops Piccolo and then meets his little bro. for the first time in his life. Goku has just flown by Nimbus to Master Roshi's (Kame House) where Bluma, Krillin, Turtle and Master Roshi are inside and go outside and meet Gohan for the first time. After a few seconds we see Radditz appear and talk to Goku. He tells Goku that he is a sayian and that Goku is his brother. and that his real name is "Kakarot" the Goku attacks him and gets beat up. Radditz decides to take his nephew hostage untill Goku agrees to destroy at least 10 people and then he takes of with a crying Gohan. Piccolo then arrives and he and Goku decide team up and fight Radditz. When they meet a huge battle emerges with aditz being much stronger than the both combined. Piccolo loses an arm when hit by a energy beam. and then Gohan (trapped in Radditz's space pod) Release his hidden power to whacks a big hole in Radditz's armour then Goku Grabs his Brother from behind and keeps him in a lock until Piccolo is ready to unleash his "Special Beam Cannon" attack and kill's both radditz and Goku. before Radditz dies he tells Piccolo that two more Sayian warriors will arrive to avenge him in excatly 1 year and that they would be powerless as they are much stronger than he was. then Goku asks Piccolo to train Gohan To help the Earth and not to wish him back until the year is up as he wants to stay in the other world and train there.
