All transformations are based on CURRENT PL, not max, and increase it by the values shown.
Each transformation is separate from the others, so the values are not cumlative, for example, going from SSJ1 to SSJ2 does not increase the SSJ1 PL by x10, but the current PL without SSJ1, or simply SSJ1 x2, as notified.
IMPORTANT - I don't particulary want to put too many restrictions on gaining these different states, but i will if they are abused. By this, i mean that i don't want people becoming SSJ1 in a pathetic manner, like saying 'character is mad, goes super saiyan.' You have to work really hard at the method in which they become super saiyan, in order for it to be acceptable and convincing. On the same note, no going SSJ2 within a month or so of becoming SSJ1. It takes a LONG time (Gohan manages the transition from 1 to 2 within 2 days or so, although the first day is the year in the hyperbolic time chamber, so that's different). So work it into your storyline for your character in the most original way possible, the rpg is as much about writing DBZ style storylines and cool stories as it is training and fighting, as it gives us a special atmosphere that very few rpg's seem to care about.
Saiyan Transformations:
Oozaru - x2.5
Use - Automatic when full moon is looked into
Gaining - Automatic, except it is uncontrollable to begin with, so it must be trained in order to use properly, and with the character's own will
Requires - Tail to be fully intact
Super Saiyan 1 (SSJ1) - x5
Use - Once per battle. Only available if PL is 50% of max
Gaining - Cannot be learnt, must be gained in story mode. Occurs through a great loss, eg. a friend, family member, etc. Alternatively it can be gained through desperation at trying to achieve it, just as you are about to give up (as Vegeta does)
Requires - Must have a PL of at least 1,000,000 in order to gain, and control
Ultra Saiyan (SSJ1.5) - x7.5 (x1.5 SSJ1), -50% speed
Use - Once per battle. Only available if PL is 50% of max
Gaining - Extensive training as a SSJ1, for a whole day for instance
Requires - SSJ1
Super Saiyan 2 (SSJ2) - x10 (x2 SSJ1)
Use - One per battle. Only available if PL is 60% of max
Gaining - Simliar to SSJ1, it occurs for the first time through a great loss or similiar, but this state is driven more by anger
Requires - SSJ1
Super Saiyan 3 (SSJ3) - x15 (x3 SSJ1, x1.5 SSJ2)
Use - Only lasts for 30 minutes, in fight mode this equals 15 turns. Requires the character to have at least 70% of max. PL in order to transform
Gaining - If you can make a convincing enough reason, then it's yours, the series isn't too clear about 'how' precisely it is gained (if anyone knows, then please contact me)
Requires - SSJ2
