If life was only simpler
You'd have been the choice I'd made,
Instead I'm in a bind
For your memory will not fade.
Metaphoric bugs
In an alternate universe,
Infect my shallow being
As my life shifts in reverse.
My tears have long ago
Dried upon my cheeks,
I am an irreverant Zombie
As the sullen angel speaks;
Of complication, conformation
Submission and unity,
I've lost all admired most
The power to be me...
It's because your love did break me
And ran me up a wall,
I quickly cry out, "Let me Die!"
"Don't catch me as I fall..."
I thought he was my omniverse
A plauge unto my heart,
Reality's cold shoulder's shown
We're meant to be apart.
Because of him, I've ruined you
Someone I've grown to love,
My cloudy emporer, soul incased
In lightning high above.
We stole our kisses, murmured softly
Caressed your hand with mine,
I whispered nothings in your ears
Our friendship will be fine....
When you found out I had another
Betrayal in your eyes,
Death was the only out I sought
Evading all the lies.....
I'd rather be alone now
Some moments with my tears,
I miss you ****** you know..
The pain you've left... it sears.
My love for you continues on
Regret it as I may,
