	Veldlokk was created in the fall of 2003 by KSaeter,  as a musical outlet for recently composed lyrics.  He recruited BAmick and AScourge to complete the lineup for this unnamed black metal project.  Although the name Veldlokk would not be chosen for some time late, the project framework was established and the three started creating hymns to spread the music of Veldlokk  A rehearsal tape was recorded in the fall of 2004 as a marker of the band's progress.  Four songs that would later appear on the band's first album were recorded here.  The tape however was not distributed to anyone outside of the band.  Continuing to write more material the band decided to record a full length in the spring of 2005.  With six completed songs, recording finally began at Sapphic Studios during the summer of 2005. Completely self recorded "At the Keep of Unending Tragedie" was unleashed on the world in February of 2006.  The album contains six original tracks and nearly 40 minutes of harsh Black Metal.  Veldlokk's second album 'As Vermin Crept' was released in December of 2006 after another recording in Sapphic Studios in the summer and fall months of that same year.  The album marks a continuation of the themes presented in 'At The Keep' along with more defined production and epic tracks.  Veldlokk will promote this album until the time comes to record the third chapter in their history.  Currently music for one song has already been written by B. Amick.  Although it is difficult to determine the direction of the next album, the band has discussed composing more compact songs with more emphasis on speed and aggression.
