| Make-Up is part of A LOOK. How the everyday woman “pull off” a look? 1. Clothes that fit your body, is in style, and looks good on you. 2. What you wear and how you war it, tells a story that everyone can read. Styling one’s self into a story is part of the fun. You can recreate yourself and say, “I am telling a story here… and everyone is going to listen to it.” The stars do it all of the time. But they get a lot of help from make-up artists and stylists. Here’s some help! 6 Simple Make-Up Steps Prep Skin: Protect skin with sunscreen, no matter the skin type! Cover: Cover ALL blemishes with foundation base/ concealer. Set: With translucent powder! This could conceal blemishes for up to 2 days. Bronze: Use blush to add color back into your face but as a shadow maker, to highlight your cheeks, forehead, nose, eyebrow bone, chin, and jaw line. This adds dimension to your face. This also helps the face look “finished”. Fill in: Eyes, eyebrows, and lips with liner, lipstick and Mascara. You decide how extreme you want to go with it. You have your base, so if you go gentle you will get a really “natural” look and if you fill in deeper lines, you’ll get a more “vampy”or “sultry” look. Glow: Use a pearlized translucent power over the highlighted areas of your face. And add gloss to the lips. Tips * Use eye shadow color on lips with a small brush for lip color that looks natural lasts all day, even after a meal. * Shine is bad/ Glow is good. * Blending colors and lines give a more natural look * Make up is drawing. Do a Solo Slumber Party. Schedule a night out of the week where you can practice drawing and blending colors on your face. It’s fun, and you'll love the results, you’ll see. * Lip gloss is SEXY no matter the trends. Don’t you forget it! * Mascara will ALWAYS brighten up your eyes. Are you finished? The look is not “finished without the hair, and the clothes. YOU'VE GOT TO HAVE THE TOTAL PACKAGE! Get everything looking crisp and clean, even if the look is grunge.
