  History:-      

                              In 16th century Vijapur's king "Aadilshaha" constructed "Yashvantgad". It was a very important Fort for Aadilshaha because it was very near to Vengurla City. In that time Vengurla known as a Financial Capital of Vijapur. Some people told us that there was secreted link in between Vengurla And Yashvantgad Redi, but there is no proof for it. In the same century "YugPurush Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj" won this fort .

Temples :-          

                          Redi also recognized for its Ganesh temple. This temple enclose  history associated to it. 18 April 1976, God Ganesh came in the dreams of Mr. Sadanand Kambali and told him to dig at that place. At 1 May 1976 digging  accomplished And they got holy Ganesha.

Industries in Redi :-

                               Redi Well-known for its Iron industry. Tata Metaliks is      engaged in the business of manufacturing and selling pig iron. Its plants, located at Kharagpur (West Bengal) and Redi (Maharashtra), consists of five Mini Blast Furnaces and related facilities including Captive Power Plants.
