| What is Wicca This question, is not a simple one. Wicca is a belief, it is a religion, it is spirituality, it is love, kindness and knowledge. It is helping your fellow man when he is down and out, and it is listening to telemarketers without hanging up on them, after all it is there job and they are doing their part in the world (no matter how often they call as you are just sitting down to dinner) Wicca is a path of love and light. It is more then throwing on a plack pointy hat, saying a few rhymes, and buying a pentacle ring and proudly declaring all over your neighborhood, "I am a Witch!!!" Wicca is an Earth based religion that Honors the Goddess, and the God. Yes! Both! There are many kinds of Wiccans, each with their own traditions. You can find a list of these different traditions on my different traditions page. A Wiccan is NOT a satan worshiper. Shocked? Well, listen closley. Wiccans do not believe in this man in the red pajamas and pointy horns. He does not exist. Instead of being evil, and going to hell, we believe that our own evil comes back to us, times three. Read my Three Fold Law page for these 'rules' Wiccans do not have a 'Bible' or a specific book that tells us our beliefs. We do, in fact, have a Book Of Shadows, which we write ourself. It includes our spells, our dreams, our path. As for jumping on brooms, riding under the full moon to coven meetings, well, lets see here. When was the last time you looked up at the moon and saw one of us riding around? Please, come back down to Earth. I hope this helped you realize what we are.
