The Mischiefious Me
Stephanie Toliver is my name, but working on cars is my game. I was born and raised from here in good ole Virginia. I was brought up from a Southern, redneck family in the heart of Poquoson and lived just on the outskirts. I will be honest when I say I am a redneck at heart, but I do listen to other types of music. Since I'm half black and half white, it was a bit difficult for my parents to work and support me due to Poquoson still being a slight racist. It has been that way since I was about the age of seven, but it has gotten much better.
The reason for me to be here at TNCC is I want to learn to be more of the professional type since I do want to run my own shop in the near future. Cars have always been a big part of who I am. I always said that Iove been turning wrenches since the day I was born, which seems to be so true. My dream is to one day be in a crew working for Dale Earnhardt, Jr. He's one of the best drivers I look up to. Then move on from that and create my business.
While we are out for the summer, I plan on writing a bit more and taking time out to enjoy life. Surfing is definitely one of the things I will be up to this summer. Another big thing this summer will be to sup up my friend's cars for the Langley races on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. We're so going for the top dog in these competitions. Like I said before, we'll smoke them out of the way. I will also be taking a few lessons from my buddy on some graphic design on cars. I want to pimp my truck out before the end of August. I guess I'll have to wait and see how well I do with the lessons first.
Since I'm from this area, I spend a lot of time at local beaches, arcades, movies and parties. My friends, Jordan and Amber always come over to hang out for the night and play Xbox 360 live. My house usually ends up becoming party central in my neighborhood. My summer plans include hitting up all the local band wars, parties, Virginia Beach and a couple more movies. Well seeing that I have to write about my summer experiences in English class this year, I reckon I'll be doing a lot of activities other than working. Now it's time for a little, sun, sand and relaxation. Well the summer is here, so I better get out there and do my thing.
