Born in the year 1561, Jonathan McMasters was the son of Lord Henry McMasters
and his maid.
Jonathan displayed an innate artistic talent early in his life... painting
grandoise landscapes and portriats as early as the age of 8. But his bliss was
not to last, when his father past away, his painting turned towards the morose
and bleak.. falling farther and farther into the abyss of the demented mind.
When he turned 17, he met a girl in the town market by the name of Clarissa
Lumien one night and they spent days upon days speaking of darkness in the arts
and the artist whom harnessed it.. she spoke of madness and realizations, hope
and deispair, and the meloncholy of every day life...
He stared fascinated by this young girl who spoke like a wizened sage more than
4 times her apparent age, so much that he when she leaped on him and bit into
his neck, he didn't even flinch or fight... he just slipped into the oblivion
of undeath.
When Jonathan awoke, his mind was filled with the images that were locked away
in his mind by his attempts to retain his sanity... he saw people for who or
what they were.. he saw the colors that surrounded everything and he saw
Clarissa for what she was... a Vampire maddened by her existance.
Over the years he has developed a love/hate relation with his "condition"
hating the madeness that comes with the Malkavian blood and the "downtime" he
suffers when institutionalized and loving the insight that comes with his
immortality.
He arrives on the shore of England seeking others of his kind to study for
his "portriats" which he paints with paints mixed with his blood...
He sees a mansion in the distance and senses Kindred blood... more blood to
paint with...more paintings to paint |
