* Discussed:
* The Munyon Island Kayaking Eco-tour guided by Adventure Times Kayaks, was a fun event. Lasted 4 hours, 5 crewmembers, 2 guests and three adults participated.
* We need to recuit new members - the Venturing Open House this coming Saturday at Tanah Keeta is a great way to do that. Bring a friend or two. There will be SCUBA diving in the pool, shootgun shooting, archery, the climbing wall will be open, kayaking and canoeing will be available on the Loxahatchee, plus lots of other activities. A flyer was handed out.
* The next payment for Philmont will be due Sept 20th. $235 /person id due.
* We will be playing volleyball again this year in the gym on Thursdays starting this Thursday at 7 PM.
* Lets do some fundraising this year so we can spend other people's money instyead of ours!
* Officer's meeting after volleyball onThursday.
* Next meeting (besides volleyball) will be here next Tuesday at 7:15 PM we will begin planning the activity calendar for the year.
The Crew took the first game rather quickly from the old guys.....

* Discussed:
* Each crewmember completed an activity interest survey form. Mr. McGee will tabulate the results and email them to everyone in attendance.
* Started planning the activitiy schedule. Made a list of 29 places we'd like to go eat at for a meeting rather meeting at St. Peter's.
* Made a list of 24 major activities that we would like to do this year.
* The crew decided to attent the Venture Ranger School being hosted by the South Florida Council at their Camp Seminole in Davie the weekend of Sept 9th. Four crewmembers and Mr. McGee are signed up at this point. Mr. McGee will make the registration by this Friday to get the $10 discount for early registration for those who have made a committment.
* The Venture Crew cards that Shannon made were handed out for recruiting purposes. Several recharter membership cards were also handed out.
