Well SPOC is a club for people who own Saturn's, and like to modify them whether for speed or show. The first show that I went to was held by the SPOC chapter in Pennsylvania. It was held in Carlisle Pa at the local Saturn dealer, Sutliff Saturn.
I will tell you, that was one of the funnest times I have ever had...we(Jon my best friend and I, he is a fellow SPOC member)went to the show which was held on May 6th 2000. Well at that point I had only owned my car a total of two days, but I knew that I was gonna go SATURN CRAZY woo hoo! We decided to take my new Saturn because he knew that I couldn't go with out driving for one day since I just bought it(THANKS JON !!).
When we arrived I parked off to the side, away from where all the modded out Saturns were sitting. We got out of the car and started looking at all of the beauties, there some really kewl cars there with some really kewl modifications. Anyway we started chatting with some of the club members about their cars and the subject of what brought us to the show came up and so I told him(coz I can't for the life me remember his name im terrible)that I had just got my Saturn two days prior. He asked where it was and then told me: "Come on over and join the Family" ....it was so kewl....anyway I parked my car next the rest of them and that was the start of a really kewl afternoon....
Well I must say thanks to everyone who attended the show, they were just the best, nice, helpful, friendly, easy to get along with and just plain FUN! I have never been to a event like that where everyone got along so well and just had fun with out having to be petty and childish....I can't wait till the next event that I can get to, I hope to be able to show off some mods by then...
