Arthur Bishop

Born in Utah in 1951, Arthur Bishop predictably grew up to be a seemingly devout Mormom, even completing a mission in the Phillippines. Trouble started around 1974 when he was kicked out of the Mormom church. After an arrest in 1981 for stealing money from a car dealer he was employed by, Bishop disappeared, taking aliases and severing all past ties.

After his eventual arrest in July 1983 for embezzlement of yet another employer, a search of Bishop's home turned up photographs of children that were sexual in nature. Soon police realized that some of the children in the photo's were missing and Bishop was confronted by police.

He quickly cracked and confessed to kiling five children. Four-year-old Alonzo Daniels was abducted from his home and killed by Bishop on October 16th, 1979. Kim Peterson vanished on November 27th, 1980. Danny Davis, 4, on October 20th, 1981. Troy Ward, 6, on June 22nd, 1983. Graeme Cunningham died on July 14th, 1983, just ten days before Bishop was arrested. The children were found with Bishop's help in shallow graves.

Bishop was tried and convicted of the five child killings. He was killed by lethal injection on June 10th, 1988.
