After recently formatting some old disks which arrived in a box of my items from Malaysia. Several of my early diagrammed work was located and traced to my earliy years in school. Being in a position where you get surrounded by rectangles of paper!, my interest for that time being was focused mainly on practical items. If you run into any errors in the diagrams or having trouble interpratting them, feel free to let us know! |
A long (hence the name) wallet which is ideal for storing various currency, small notes, photos, and even pens!. Takes around 5 minutes to fold. Normal paper works welll but if you want to maximise its durability, I recommend manila card. |
This is a container specially designed for holding your every day 3.5 inch floppies. A regular box can have a capacity of up to eight disks. The interesting feature of this box holds is its locking flap. The flap tucks itself into the slot and holds very well from the tension of its load and sided layers. Supprisingly its very strong and prevents dusts and dirt from comming unto contact with the disk. Takes around 10 minutes to fold with accuracy. Note: This model is based on precreasing/landmarking to get the folds into position. |
When CD wallets were first sold out in the shops, prices were quite high. Despite that, they were in more demand than CD racks mainly due to their versatility and campact design. This origami version, saves money on purchasing one and can carry as many as 10 CD`s (or even more). Takes aroung 10 minutes to fold with accuracy. |
The base used in this guitarist evolved from the one used to create the angel 10 years ago. I discovered the model while fumbling throgh the folds of the old angell and discovered many interesting properties that this base has in generating many appendages. I have designed many guitarist within a 10 year period. This is my 6th version. This model requires a very strong and durable medium to fold. I might recommend paper-backed foil or tissue foil. Use a square measuring at least 30cm. The tubular reverse itechniques used for the feet was based on the idea and method of Steven Casey ( used in his Santa Claus model).
