Peter Paul Verzola

Legal Researcher for Attorney Raul Vincent Almacen in cases involving the abuse of senior citizen/ military veterans, who lived in HUDıs subsidized housing.

1969 Insurance investigator acquainted with San Francisco Police Inspector Joseph Brodnik, who was murdered by Los Siete ("The Seven"). This murder was one of the origins of the Nary case.

1969-1970 Hallinan vs. Secretary of Defense, Clark Clifford/General Lamont, a habeas corpus case in which Hallinan represented twenty-seven young army draftees who refused to go to Vietnam. His co-defense counsels were Captain Brendan Sullivan and Paul Halvonik of the ACLU. Brendan Sullivan later became the defense attorney for Col. Oliver North in the Iran-Contra Funding scandal and Congressional investigation. (Peter Verzola was a member of the ACLU at the time.)

1973 Peter started "CULTURE FOR THE CONFINED" a book drive to start a library for the pretrial inmates of the San Francisco City Prison

1983 Peter was the correspondent for Western Public Radio/ KALW FM radio (San Francisco) / KIRO Radio ( Seattle) in the South Pacific--Australia/ New Zealand He was the first journalist allowed to interview prisoners in the worldıs most unique social control of prisoners program--birds and fish as pets for prisoners at Parry Prison in Auckland, New Zealand. He produced the radio series THE BIRDMAN OF PARRY PRISON ---see exhibit photo Totally, Peter produced over 1600 radio programs for public radio. These tapes also include a series on Dog bite Liability that was done with the late attorney Melvin Belli--see exhibit- photo. He also produced tapes of the LAST SURVIVOR OF GALLIPOLI ( WORLD WAR 1) "INGALL", THE LAST COMMANDING GENERAL OF THE BENGAL LANCERS (stationed in Northwest frontier of India, Pakistan & Afghanistan.

1984 Peter started the San Francisco Afghan Hound Rescue Service--see photo exhibit.

1993 After a secret meeting in Washington, D. C, the trip financed in part by Mayor George Christopher, Federal Investigators requested an extensive flow chart of the HUD and Real Estate graft involving Juan Jorge Pifarre, a competent financial analyst, whose family was connected to the Bank of Argentina.

1996--Present Legal Liaison/ Researcher/ Investigator for Steven R. Nary v Hennesey, Hallinan et al. This case was illegally tried in San Francisco County, State of California. For more information, see Nary web site.
