A land that is spoken of in the legends. It is here, Lord Sri Krishna gave the philosophy of Bhagwad Gita. The legendary  battle of Mahabharata to uphold the righteous virtues and values of life was fought here. The city boasts several Places of tourist and religious importance.
The city is located at 160 kms from Delhi on the GT Road and is well connected by rail.
 
 
 
        Brahma Sarovar
According to Vaman Puran Brahma the Creator Himself Conceptualised the site of the tank.A 3300 ft long and 1500 ft  wide tank.Parikrama on all the sides with mditation chambers.
On the days of Solar Eclipse, Amavasya lakhs of people in a day take a holy dip in it.

Believed to be the birth place of holy scripture – Bhagwad Gita.The site fascinates with its fine water body, bathing ghats and temples.The site immortalizes in marble, the image of Lord Sri Krishna explaining to Arjuna the doctrine of Karma (Desireless Action), Jnana (Supreme Knowledge) and Bhakti (Absolute Devotion) through the Gita Updesh.
A banyan tree believed to be the off shoot of the original tree under which the Lord gave His Sermon adds religious importance to the site.
