This three level log home will sleep up to seven couples (or one or two families). The perfect size group would be one or two or three adult couples with maybe up to five or six little ones.
There are two "conventional" bedrooms...one of which is part of a completely separate "mother-in-law apartment" ... plus a queen size private sleeping loft ... plus a small room (with a queen size futon) that we call "The Cave" because the roof of the house slopes down into it ... "The Cave" is fine for sleeping two full size adults, but no standing up or dancing around ... unless you are under four feet tall! There are also several non-private sleeping spaces ... everything from twin size built in "sleeping nooks" to queen size fold out futons on frames.
There are two and a half bathrooms and two fully equipped kitchens. In addition to gas heat throughout the house, there are three woodburning stoves, two of which are free-standing fireplaces. There are always several cords of seasoned firewood.
The house is completely furnished and all linens are provided. Laundry room, Satellite TV (with full premium movie package), VCR and DVD, two stereo systems, and year round barbecues are all included, as well as a canoe, a kayak and a small fishing dinghy in summer months.
The house is located on 21 private and secluded acres on the Lake Ninevah Road, less than a mile from gorgeous and pristine Lake Ninevah, an approximately 200 acre wilderness lake. We are seven miles from Okemo and about twenty miles from Killington, in the heart of Vermont ski country. We are less than 250 miles from mid-town Manhattan (usually under 5 hours by car). The Amtrack "Ethan Allen Express" runs daily from Penn Station to Rutland, Vermont, about 20 miles from the house.

You get the entire house for the above flat rates, regardless of the
number of people in your group. Other than a fully refundable
security/cleaning deposit (usually $200), and the 9% "Meals And Rooms Tax"
demanded by the State of Vermont,there are no additional
charges of any kind at any time. Utilities and snow plowing of the
driveway in winter, after every storm, are included in your rental
fee.
