The  Keanae Village
Keanae is a native Hawaii village.  A Tsunami hit the Keanae village in 1947.   The Tsunami destroyed every thing except their stone church.  Keanae has been rebuilt.  We found Keanae to be a sleepy little vilage with a breath taking view.

As we were enjoying the scene and taking photos a pretty young native Hawaiian girl drove in and setup a small stand.   She was selling peanut brittle made with local Hawaiian.nuts and flavoring.  Normally we are not peanut brittle fans but this was really delicious.
The clouds were gathering, and shortly after we finished taking the photos it started to rain.  We simply got into the car and enjoyed some the peanut brittle we had just purchased.  After a couple min., it stopped, cleared up, and we were off..
Driving back through the village a small store on the left side was just opening.  Of course we stopped and found many fresh tasty treats.  The attendant was ever so helpful explaining the various items.  Later we discovered these treats were not only the freshest but also the best price.  What a delightful little village.
