Who is TJ Alexian?
 
TJ Alexian is the nom de plum of a
devilishly handsome man who resides in a little New England town in a little
saltbox. Until recently, he lived with his little wife (fondly known as "Petite
Voce"), three children, dog, two cats, and a guineau pig. He attended
parties wearing a purple fright wig and talks in a low voice only when he's
addressing large groups of people seeking his advice on a multitude of topics,
including the plight of the mongoose...
Sorry, I've been using that introduction for a long time on this web site. But you see, about a year ago, things started to change completely. Oh, some things stayed the same...but other things changed a lot. Most of the changes have been pretty good ones, too, and I'm finding that they're having a leveling effect...I'm a bit mellower...probably a bit more focused. Probably a bit more who I really am. Definitely having more fun.
I have a lot to say about all this stuff, but my webpage is really not the most appropriate forum, ya know? At least, not yet. P.S.: The name "Alexian" is used to honor my long-deceased grandfather, a
Greek orphan who rose from humble origins to become a noted mathematician,
before he died of cancer mere months away from completing his doctorate. Rhode
Island College in Providence, RI still presents a scholarship in mathematics each year in his name.
