Food Science & Technology is an advanced course designed for the 3rd or 4th year student in agricultural education on the high school level.  Prerequisite courses are Agricultural Science I and Agricultural Science II.

Students will learn about agricultural careers, FFA award programs, Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE), record keeping, and advanced topics in food chemistry and nutrition, food additives, food packaging and labeling, evaluation of foods, food microbiology, food processing, food fermentation, principles of sanitation and quality control.
