Animal Science is an advanced course designed for the 3rd or 4th year student in agricultural education on the high school level. Prerequisite courses are Agricultural Science I and Agricultural Science II. Students will learn about agricultural careers, FFA award programs, Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE), record keeping, and advanced topics in animal production, management, marketing, nutrition, breeding, production records, selection, animal health, waste management, and biotechnology. |
