Oft when the
warm blackness of an indigo night
Has dipped
gently and curled into peaceful stillness
'Neath the
jasmine-scented lawn,
Tiny splashes
of bright, dancing lanterns
Have glowed,
quivered, and sweetly shied away
In harmony to
the glittering stars.
And then have I
faintly felt
The bright
jasmine-flavored life
Glow dark and
flash back n forth...back n forth
Like golden
dust showered from falling stars
Drowning
mysteriously into the black birches' happy arms
And quietly
fading away.
A million
wishes for a million glows
Have vaguely
passed me by
As each spark
has traced a yellow path around me,
Slowing down,
then flitting way
Into a
gaily-lamped fairyland
Where the light
of day slumbers peacefully
Far far beyond
my jasmine-flavored lawn...
