Jyrki Jarvilehto (J.J. Lehto)
Born 1966, Finland

Lehto entered F1 with the Onyx team after a testing role with Ferrari. When the Onyx team folded, Lehto went on to Dallara for two seasons, scoring his first podium finish in F1. His switch to Sauber for 1993 yeilded some good results and he went to Benetton for 1994, partnering champion-to-be, Michael Schumacher. Before the season got under way, Lehto broke his next in testing and so Verstappen was called in to replace him until he recovered. Lehto retured but seemed to have lost his talent. He partnered Verstappen with Benetton for the Portuguese and Italian Grand Prix whilst Schumacher was disqualified but afterwards found himself without a secure seat in F1.
He has since competed in Le Mans with great success.
