Can you tell me the difference between love & friendship?
I know I sure can.
You can love someone & they wont always love you back;
But you can love a friend & they will always love you.
You can't make someone love you;
Although we wish we could.
You can even love- love your best friend;
Although we seldone should.
I've actually fallen for a friend,
Someone who seems so out of reach.
I told him how I honestly felt,
But I only scared him away.
It actually kind of hurt!
I guess I shouldn't have told him anything.
You can't hlep who you fall in love with;
No matter how hard you try.
I often sit up lat at night & do nothing but cry.
Love mixing with friendship is something seldom done,
But it comes to find out that I'm not the only one.
Even if I never get the chance to catch my falling star;
He knows my love for him will never stray far.
How do you know when you are in love?
Is it all those little things that really start to matter?
From the bottom of my broken heart;
Is all I can manage to say;These feelings are so deep & pure,
Nothing can destroy them.
Even if you told me to go to hell.
I know I can never compare to any girl from your past,
But here I am standing in front of you.
I just want you to know,
What you see is what you get.
Take me as I am!
If not, then it's your loss.
Love & friendship shouldn't be mixed on such high levels;
For fear of explosion.
I love you, &I I always will.
I'll always love you in more ways than one.
Even if friendship is all we'll have.
I can't make you love me,
So I guess love & friendhip will have to do;
Even though I'm not happy unless I'm talking to you.
