| Field Trips for Fifth Grade |
| Each year, we take a field trip to the Cayucos Tide Pools. This trip compliments lessons learned in Science on the Earth's Oceans. Not only that, it is just plain fun. Students have an opportunity to view first hand many of the wonders of ocean life. |

| Each year we also visit the Melodrama in Oceano. This is a great field trip! The business is closed to the public while we are there. The students get to watch a play full of intrigue and music. They especially enjoy this as they have recently performed the Lewis and Clark play. The actors serve lunch to the students: hot dogs,soda, popcorn and candy. This is the kid's favorite part of the day! Not to mention the teachers............ |

| Each year, we have an end of the year pool party/graduation at beautiful Templeton Pool, pictured here to the left. Students swim for an hour and a half, and then enjoy a barbeque in the park. |
