| Ray I...Shamballa Spirit, Will, Life, Energy, Identification {Will/Power} Ray II...Hierarchy Soul, Consciousness, Light, Love, Initiation {Love/Wisdom} Ray III...Humanity Form, Appearance, Body, Intelligence, Individuality... {Active Intelligence} Remember, nonetheless, That these Three are One. Behind all of them stands One who remains transcendent and immanent , greater than our whole, yet also wthin that whole. Through Ray IV we learn to be at one with this eternal synthesis and Will {Harmony through Conflict} Through Ray V we learn to understand the Nature of that synthesis and Will {Concrete Knowledge} Through Ray VI, we move forward to complete identification with that synthesis and Will {Devotion/Idealism} Through Ray VII, we demonstrate on earth the nature of that synthesis through the medium of the appearing form and the pupose of that underlying Will {Cerremonial Order and Magick} AND SO THE MANY ARE ABSORBED INTO THE ONE |
| The Passage above is from 'Esoteric Astrology' by Alice A. Bailey. It seems to illustrate quite well the rhythmic movement, triangulation of energy, continuity and evolution upon the rays... Each Human being has a Ray of Monad, and A Soul, Personality, Astral, Mental and Physical Ray, and so there are a vast number of individual energy influences and combinations. The actualization of these combinations depends largely upon the level of integration of a soul, as well as the qualities of the rays themselves. The ray of Monad can be any of the Rays of Aspect: 1,2, or 3,and is our 'Divine Spark' . The Soul, Personality, Astral, Mental and Physical rays can be any one of the 7. Each ray has its own Qualities; it's own special set of attributes and challenges, so that ray energy can and will be expressed positively or negatively: not in the sense of "good and bad", but as polarities of the same energy or influence we are seeking to balance and synthesize. The First Three , The Rays of Aspect, Form a Triangle of Force that Embody the first three purposes of Deity. Each of us has our Monadic Root within this Divine Cosmic Triangle. |

Reveal the oneness of many lives. Produce the Garment Of the Lord; set forth the robe of many colors. Then separate that robe from that which hides behind its many folds. Take off the veiling sheaths. Let God be seen.Take Christ from the Cross. QUALITY: Scientific Investigation 6. Let the two Paths converge. Balance their pair of opposites and let the Path appear between the two. God and the Path and Man are One. QUALITY: Balance Rays I, II, and III sum up in themselves the process of creation and energizing through the urge of Divine Will. Rays IV-VII elaborate or differentiate the qualities of Life, producing a multiplicitry of forms.
