| Dragonball Z is the second series of a very popular trio of shows in Japan. Dragonball is actually the first show. It is about a young goku who meets bulma and they both go around the world looking for the dragonballs. Dragonball Z takes place five years after Dragonball. Goku is now a father to Gohan who is four years old at the start of the series. As the series progresses, goku turns into a Super Saiyan after he watches his best friend Krillin die at the hands of Frieza. Then just after that a teenager from the future known as Trunks (who you actually find out is the offspring of Vegeta and Bulma), comes to the present time and goes Super Saiyan and kills Frieza on Earth. After Future Trunks kills Frieza he kills his father King Cold. Then he warns the Z-Fighters that two very powerful androids are going to be around in three years and terrorize the Earth. Future Trunks also warns that Goku that he will come down with a heart virus that will kill him, but Trunks says in his future they found an antidote. So Trunks gives it to Goku and tells him to use it when he gets the heart virus |
