Animal Sanctuaries
These are places of refuge for animals that may have otherwise ended up on a dinner plate or in the middle of a street. The people who start these places do so with love in their hearts and one goal in mind: to help animals that suffer because of human negligence.
You can help sanctuaries out in many ways. You can:
Donate money. Most places are non-profit organizations so your donation would be tax deductible. Besides that, you are doing a good deed and probably saving a life because most donations go to food, surgeries, or libing conditions.
Donate your time. Volunteer work is a great thing and it makes the animals so happy to have companions.
Donate supplies. Most places always need a new supply of towels or other equipment depending on the animals they house.
