The name may seem generic (not the "vegetarian" part), but this Chinese cuisine is the top of it's class as well as cruelty-free!

Located in Moneterey Park, this restaurant is Chinese cuisine with a vegan twist. Buddhist monks eat at this place as well as Chinese around the area too.

As you walk in, you can smell the good food being cooked. The menu is extensive, and all the items on it are unique to this restaurant. My favorite has been the Sweet and Sour Pork and Vegetarian Fish or Squid . You can trick meat-lovers into thinking this is the real stuff.

Along with the vegetarian food is their mantra: "Eat everything at your table!" They will not allow you to waste any food. You may be tempted, but don't order too much.

The price is right. They have an all you can eat menu with about 60 items! For adults: $10.75. For kids: $7.75. And it comes with rice, porridge, and Chinese bread (not your conventional dinner roll).
