| This is a 2 month old unvaccinated boxer puppy presented in vet center with anorexia and depression. During physical examination fever and pain in the intestine and stomach was found. After one day , while the puppy was hospitalised , it start vomiting. Vomit was bloody. Parvo test was positive so the puppy was treated with intravenous fluids (LRs, potassium , Haemaccel) , antiemetics (metoclopramide, acepromazine) and antibiotics (clavunate-potentiated amoxicillin). While vomits were under control melena was present. After 8 days of continuous therapy the puppy became healthy. |
