A Veteran laid to rest

Anthony James Tweed was Born 9 Sep 1948 in Newburgh, NY.

He entered the US Air Force Jul 1967 and was discharged June 1971. Served in Vietnam June 2 1970 June 3 1971 with the Det 5, 8th Aerial Port Sq and received Vietnam Service Medal along with the Republic of Vietnam Comendation Ribbon.

He was a past Life Member of VFW Post 3822 joining Aug 15, 1971 and became a Life Member Mar 2, 1979. He was very active in the social events of the Post as well as later in life his son Tony Jr.

His friends call him "Tweedy"

He is survived by his wife Ada de Miller and his children..

He will be missed by all his family and friends.

Members of the VFW Posts 3822 and 3835 in Panama conducted the Service Ritual at the Iglesia Santa Marta in Alta de Chase, Panama City, Republic of Panama. The American flag was presented to Mrs. Tweed and Post 3835 Ladies Auxiliary also presented a bible to her
