Friday, October 27th, 2006 was the last Friday before Halloween. To celebrate, VG Remixed held a very special Halloween Show. This show was one full of firsts. It was the first time VG Remixed did a special to an exclusive type of music. It was also the first time that VG Remixed went on for 2 hours! That's correct, the 1 hour show stayed to fill the demand for more! It housed the 1st time DJ M fell out of a chair in the studio. And finally, it was the first time that a Live Contest was held. At the beginning of the show, it was announced a poll would be held where viewers can nominate and vote for their favorite/best villian from a video game. |

| The first nomination for the first contest was made by Urahara, who nominated and voted for Magus of Chrono Trigger. Soon after came the nomination of Kefka, from Final Fantasy 6, by Clex Yoshi. For a while only these two were battling it out, but after the mention and make fun of Bowser as being the fattest, ugliest, and many other things, Yoshistar came in to nominate Bowser and stand up for him. With the score tied at 1 vote for 3 nominees, it stayed like that and seemed it would end in a draw. However, Jordan came in to nominate Nook from Animal Crossing. which I can understand, cheap raccoon. I think Mr. Resseti, but it's up the the viewers. A few other nominations were made just to expand it, but no votes were cast. Of course, DJ M and DJ Ice get a vote and soon it seemed as if it was going to be them to decide who won. DJ Ice voted for his nomination of Cyber Demon from Doom and DJ M went with Shadow the Hedgehog. It was a few minutes before the time to announce the winner when suddenly someone wanted to change their mind. After stalling for over 2 minutes while the music played and cutting into air time, Urahara finally decided to change the vote from Magus to Kefka, which declared the Final Fantasy psycho the winner of the 2006 Best/Favorite Video Game Villian! |
