C.M.M.
THREE DAYS VISIT
TO
APRANKESE (IN THE EASTERN REGION OF GHANA)
FROM
7th TO THE 9th DECEMBER - 2001.
We arrived at Aprankese around 1:00
pm. & joined the prayer time of Emmaus Resurrection Church. We prayed for a boy who had Epilepsy and he was
healed. In the evening we showed a
video film entitled IThe wrath of God~1. The attendance was so great. Before
the video show Brother Solomon ministered a salvation message and an altar call
was made to lead people to Christ. The team prayed for the sick and they
testified of their healings. At the end of the video show many people gave
their lives to Christ.
The next day, we divided ourselves
into two groups for dawn broadcasting and every where we stood to preach, the
people responded to our message. They came out of their rooms (homes) and paid
keen attention. In the morning the team
was divided into three groups and moved from house to house. The Salvation message was preached, tracts
were distributed and the sick were prayed for.
GROUP A: Touched the hearts for Christ of both Christians and
non-Christians and even Moslems.
GROUP B: Every house that they entered they met Christians who do not know
their inheritance and responsibilities in Christ. The team taught them what to
do for Christ.
GROUP C: Group "C' touched the heart of a Jehovah witness lady for
Christ. They entered nine houses. People accepted Christ. One woman was not
able to turn the neck for six months was able to do so after prayer. Just after
that, the team joined the prayer time in the church and prayed for the sick.
Miraculous healings took place at the service.
Later in the afternoon, the team was
called to pray for a 5 year old boy whose body was swollen from his head to his
feet. The result was a big difference for the prayer team.
In the evening, before the video
show, Sister Fusenatu testified how she became Born-Again. That was a challenge. Surprisingly, the crowd kept on increasing.
The title of our last film was
"Chains". In all, between 50
- 70 people gave their lives to Christ..
The follow up will be done by Emmaus Resurrection Church.
Last year, the membership was so few
but because of the seed CMM has sown there has been growth. The membership is
becoming larger.
The team members were Brother
Solomon Quaye Hammomd, Bro. Sackey Charles, Acquah Moses, Bro.Isaac Afful,
Bro.Isaac Kuranchie Danquah, Sister Fusena Agyei and Brother William Odame.
