4 DAYS WORKING VISIT TO KWAJO ASHONG FROM FEB. 14 - 18, 2002 C.M.M. Outreach Team visited Kojo Ashong from 14th to the 18th of Feb., 2002. Our activities at the village included a video show. On the first night of the video show we had a crowd between 150 to 200 people. On the second day the team was divided into three groups. The first froup went to the norhtern part of the village. The pople contacted were mainly Christians. They encouraged them. They also prayed for one woman whose eyesight was dim and she was healed! The second group won six souls to the Lord. One man was healed from an infection. The third group also met a lot of Christians and encouraged them. Apart from that they won two souls to the Lord. After our outing in the noon a woman who had a heart attack and was deaf came to us. We prayed for her and she was healed! That night the crowd who came to see the video was very large. There were more children than adults. On the third day 17 souls were won for Christ. A pregnant woman was saved. Christians were encouraged. Some drunks were also won for Christ. Just after the outing, the team went and prayed for a man whose body was swollen. After prayer there was a big change. At our lodging place a woman with a heart problem was counseled by Bro. Kumi. In the evening, the number of people who attended the video crusade got involved in praising the Lord, singing, clapping and dancing. It was so amazing! In all, the souls won was 95 people. That included 25 adults and 70 children. The films shown were "Jesus Christ of Nazareth", "The Wrath of God" and "Chains". The fourth day which was on Sunday, the team had a follow up to the people who accepted Christ and encouraged them to go to Church. The elder in charge of the church is Eler Addo who is a student of Covenant Messenger Ministries School of the Bible. There is a need for a constant follow-up to the area. Team members included: Sister Fusenatu, Bro. Moses, Bro. Nana Benyin, Bro. Charles, Bro. Solomon, Bro. William, Bro. Isaac and Bro. Kumi. We give God all the praise, glory and honor!!
