Final Fantasy X-2 has given us a trio of DVD/CD singles, with each one giving us 2 songs sung by one of the main characters of the game.

Rikku's collection is by far the most uplifting. "Barefoot Miricle" is the first song that is driven by almost cabaret trumpets and a funky electronic beat. Its typical hyper J-Pop with a smile but you cant help but find yourself moving to the song. It's very much in the same breath as "Get Happy" which was Rikku's song from FFX's Vocal Collection. The B-Side is "Without You" that is more J Pop but sounded like parts of the song have been lifted from various parts of the FFX-2 OST. While there's nothing really shocking about this song, the more you listen to it the more it grows on you. The other two tracks are the instrumentals and with the lyrics provided in Japanese you might be able to sing along, or I'm sure someone will have translated it.

The DVD shows a music video featuring "Hadashi No Kiseki" showing clips of FFX-2 sandwiched in between clips of the singer (Marika Matsumoto) that is then followed by an interview with her. Sadly with no subtitles, if you don't speak Japanese this part is wasted for you. The final section is a host of FFX-2 Rikku clips to a song from the OST.

All in all, the collection is good, if a little overpriced, but its valuable for us outside of Japan to get the low down of all that is FFX-2
