Prelude to Matrix Revolutions
VGologist's Reviews
Enter the Matrix
This game is like a prelude to The Matrix Revolution.  It goes in and out of the storyline in the second movie, and continues into the middle of the last Matrix.  Like most video games designed after a movie, this game was poorly made.  The abilities capable of the two characters (Niobe and Ghost), are very limited, broadening with the use of "Focus" (the slowing of time).  With limited. but regenerating Focus, along with your health (that also regenerates) the game is very easy to beat.  Now I don't want to tell you all the disadvantages, or you wont even give the game a chance, so I'll just continue on to the grading.
Graphics:  You encounter many dark levels throughout the game, which make it extremely difficult to see.  Besides that, the graphics for the bullets in Focus mode are pretty cool. 6/10
Complexity:
Regenerating health and Focus, along with numerous cheats, makes this game pretty easy. 4/10
Storyline:
Although I like the last two movies, the storyline for the game wasn't that great. 6/10
Customization:
There are many different ways to kill your enemies, using Focus or not.  Weapons or hand-to-hand combat moves are at your disposal. 6/10
Length:
A good day of playing should get you pretty far, possibly beating it. 4/10
Grading:
Final Grade:  5.2, if you really like the Matrix, it may tickle your fansy.
