My name is Veronica Anthony and am owned and loved by the German Shepherd Dogs here at Viajero. Ever since I can remember I have been involved with German Shepherds and my other love, Arabian Horses. Yes, I am also owned and loved by Jewel, my Arab mare. My husband, Mike, and I live on 6 acres on Dooley Road in Central Saanich (Victoria). The dogs are all house dogs and we all watch TV together in the evenings. I first became involved in showing my dogs with Apollo. Since then we have become involved in confirmation, obedience, herding, tracking, agility and anything else we have time to do. I am not involved in showing my dogs full time as I run a clinical trials company in Victoria and am also a member of the following organizations: Vancouver Island Arabian Horse Association Greater Victoria German Shepherd Club German Shepherd Dog Club of Canada German Shepherd Dog Club of America Arabian Horse Association BC Horse Council Canadian Arabian Horse Registery Association of Clinical Research Professionals I obtained my undergraduate degree in science (BSc) from the University of British Columbia and obtained my MBA from City University. I have attended many courses and seminars on dog obedience; animal psychology; art of presentation; tracking, etc., to name a few. All our dogs are trained using motivation. We believe that German Shepherds are a versatile breed with many facets to them. Our main goal is to breed a beautiful, easy to maintain and train, friendly animal. |
