Yes brothers and sisters, I had a dream, and no it doesn't consist of naked women romping around. I had a vision a truly American vision. A vision of free speech, a vision where a monkey no matter his views may speak freely without being beat down with the large stick of mass societal conformity. A VISION of true righteous proportions. A dream where I may walk among all and feel free to say whatever comes to my mind. FREE to say a negative thing and not feel the wrath of 100000 people jumping on my back. Yes my friends, I had a dream of freedom true freedom of speech. Where I wouldn't have to hide in the forests of lurkdom and could let thought flow from me like a beautiful river. This dream was wonderful; people all got along and debated civilly. Disagreed but respected the thought process it which each other had and the conclusions they came to. As a result, the Powers that be were happy Gods and played amongst all without having to baby-sit.

My dream of mutual respect, creative thought provoking ideas, and civil debate is a far off dream. This I know. Yet, I still dream and have hope (well until I get yelled at again for an original idea then im sure I will go on another verbal rant, much like this one) and it will be achieved, as long as the idea and concept are fresh in my mind.
