| Alta is located in the north of Norway, on 70 degrees north (North Cape, the northernmost point of the world is situated on 71 degrees north). This means that we have long, cold winters with constant darkness and short, intense summers with midnight sun. Temperature wise it can get down to -35 degrees C in winter and up to +30 in summer. |
