| In Jamaica it is said 'Nuh place nuh betta da yard'. For those of you who are not blessed with being Jamaicans or who cannot speak 'patois'' which is the local Jamaican language, it simply means 'there is no place like home'. I have to agree with the saying as I love the land of wood and water. Which land is that you ask. Why, Jamaica of course. The world Jamaica means 'land of wood and water'. |
