Laser Chemistry Institute (LCI) is located in Fudan University at Shanghai.
At LCI, I worked with professor Qin Qizong, professor Zheng Qi-ke,
professor Zhou Mingfei and other colleagues on the studies of reaction
intermediates. We used both experimental as well as
theoretical methods to characterize reactive species generated
during chemical reactions.

The methods we used include matrix isolation(MI), FTIR spectroscopy, quantum
chemical calculations. Our studies mainly cover two important aspects of chemistry:
atmospheric chemistry and catalytic reactions involving transition metal centers.
Other than that, I also used MI to synthesize model compounds and
novel molecules with interesting chemical and physical properties.
