A "rock opera" about a musician named Pink (Bob Geldof). His father was in a war and he died when Pink was just a baby. He becomes a rock star and starts to do drugs. He becomes more and more isolated and begins to go into downward spiral to darkness.



"Hello? Is there anyone in there?" ~Pink's wife.



A lot of just awkward pauses and it'll be totally silent for long periods of time and then they'll break into song.


Well...this movie isn't the disturbing freak show I'd heard it was. I loved the music and was very intrigued by the animation...but there wasn't much after that. There is no talking (about 6 lines the entire movie) and it's pretty much a musical. The story was pretty weak. I was also very amused by the fact that he shaved his eyebrows off. The whole Nazi thing confused me. I do understand, however, that you need to be on drugs to understand it. Flew right over my sober brain. Because of this, the jury gives this flick:
