Whip it! Whip it good!

Preaching to the Perverted
[DVD Info]

Peter Emery (Christien Anholt) is a young God fearing Christian who is employed to help in an investigation to shut down an underground S&M club. In order to do so he must go undercover into "Hot Whax" and get close to the head mistress Tanya Cheex (Guinevere Turner) and film the on goings in the club (with these really "cool" looking raybans). What he didn't know was, to get close to her he must first become her slave, get his nipples pierced, get whipped, and pleasure her. Not only that, he has to deal with Tanya's head slave Eugenie, (Julie Graham) who doesn't trust him for a second and is in love with her head mistress. Will he be able to keep his oath to god and resist Tanya?

"Tell Mr. Harding I prenetrated the sexual underground." ~Peter.

Okay, well. The night after Peter gets his nipples pierced...they chain them up and pull on them. Now...I've never had my nipples pierced but I thinkin' that that might hurt a bit...but that's just me.

When looking at the cover (of the director's cut edition) this film looks really scary. I thought it was going to be a hardcore S&M fetish film that was going to be dark and painfully graphic. To my surprise this film was rather cheeky (hehe...no pun intended) and light hearted. Toward the end they got more serious and was trying to prove that S&M isn't all bad (if someone thought it was that bad...why would they even pick up the DVD?) and that you shouldn't judge. They should've assumed that when going into this movie you aren't pre-judging these people. Since they lost sight of that, the movie became less funny. The film was under-scored with a good techno soundtrack and beautiful visuals (there's always a very vibrant PINK in every scene). One thing though, is that they seem to misrepresent Christians in this movie. For one, Peter's mother is totally okay with him going to S&M clubs and having stuff done to him...if that was real...I have a feeling that she would freak out and disown him. Oh well. Any more explaining would ruin the movie. Anyway, it starts off really well, however the middle starts to waver a bit, and then it picks up at the end. Because of this, the jury gives this flick:
