You're all money

Swingers
[DVD Info]

A group of guys; Mike Peters (Jon Favreau...the guy who played Monica's boyfriend in "Friends" and the lawyer in "Daredevil"), a struggling comedian (who really ISN'T funny) just broke up with his girlfriend of 6 years to move to L.A. and is having a hard time getting over her, Trent Walker (Vince Vaughn) is a regular smooth talking lounge lizard (who actually insults the ladies more than anything) is always getting lucky...he's always trying to get Mike to forget about his ex, Rob (Ron Livingston) an out of work actor who is Mike's good friend, obsesses about how he got cast for the job of Goofy and how he hates it, Sue (Patrick Van Horn) Trent's right-hand man, also good with the ladies and trying to help Mike get laid, and Charles (Alex Désert) another lounge lizard that parties with them, are always on the scene of the latest party. They go to the clubs that don't have signs and only certain people know about. They’re out all night, picking up chicks and pimpin' out. Mike, who has lost his lady love spends his time obsessing over his ex. Will he ever find true love?

"Didn't you see "Boys in the Hood"? now one of us is going to get shot!" ~Mike to Sue about pulling out a gun on thugs.

... "Money" is not an adjective. Yet, somehow it works...and it leaves you feeling...just a little bit money.

The story that Trent tells the girls in the trailer was lame...and way too long. I wished that whole part was cut out of the movie...it was killing me.

Although some parts of the movie dragged and it didn't really have a purpose (not that these guys had any real purpose in life) but you find yourself impeccably drawn to their swinging ways. A big plus was that I *love* the " Big Bad Voodoo Daddies" and swing. After this film you'll be feeling a little bit money yourself. Because of this, the jury gives this flick:
